How To Get Rid Of Diabetes

Diabetes is a condition that impairs the body's ability to process blood glucose, otherwise known as blood sugar. Diabetes is on worldwide and is a serious, lifelong disease that can lead to heart disease, stroke, and lasting nerve, eye, and foot problems.

An organ in your body called as pancreas produces insulin, a hormone that controls levels of blood sugar. When you have little insulin in your body or when insulin doesn't work well in your body, then might have diabetes. The condition where you have abnormally high glucose or sugar levels in your blood. Glucose is your body's source of fuel. Your pancreas makes insulin to move glucose from your bloodstream into muscle, fat, and liver cells, where your body turns it into energy. People who have diabetes have too much blood sugar because their bodies can't move glucose into fat, liver, and muscle cells to store energy.

There are two main types of diabetes:

Type 1:

Type 1 diabetes is less common, and usually occurs in people who are below age 20 and that's why it's also known as juvenile diabetes. In this disease, the body makes little or no insulin. This is because the pancreas cells that make insulin stop working because your immune system attacks the pancreas. Type 1 diabetes cannot be prevented, it can only be controlled with healthy lifestyle changes.

Type 2:

Type 2 diabetes is more common, it usually occurs in people who are above the age of 40 but because of high obesity rates, children and teens are now being diagnosed with this disease. This type of diabetes is caused due to insulin resistance. In this type, the pancreas produces insulin but the body is not able to respond to it properly. Some people with type 2 diabetes do not know they have it. There are so many reasons behind type 2 diabetes-like hormone imbalance, poor diet, being overweight, higher blood pressure or etc. Type 2 diabetes can be reversed.
